If you’re planning a big wedding in Pittsburgh and need a large ballroom, check out the Syria Mosque in Cheswick. Located right on Route 28, it’s just 15 miles from downtown Pittsburgh. It can easily accommodate several hundred guests for a seated dinner reception.
The ballroom is tiered, with a sunken dance floor and seating on two levels, giving the room a unique look.
Even with several hundred guests, there’s still plenty of room for guests to mingle during cocktail hour. 
There’s also a very large stage, perfect if you’re having a band, or a great spot for a head table. Also, check out the detailing on the walls. The pillars and arches are gorgeous.
