I remember very clearly the day I met Allison and Dennis. It was the day after February’s Big Blizzard, and many roads were still covered with snow. You could only drive on one lane of 376. Seems like it took a couple weeks to get back to normal!
Allison and Dennis have already appeared here on the blog, as I photographed Allison’s sister Ashley’s wedding back in June. You’ll see one of my favorite dancing photos there – it’s the one where Allison interrupts dancing with Dennis to dutifully tie her sister’s shoe, and Dennis keeps right on dancing.
Allison & Dennis met me a few nights ago at the North Shore for their engagement session. We lucked out with a beautiful night, not too hot, and even a little breeze.
Dennis is a tall guy.
Note mysterious pile of driftwood. I find it mysterious because I didn’t notice any anywhere else… but a big pile right in this spot.
Thanks to the passerby who held on to my light stand. The breeze was refreshing, but not so good for using off camera lighting…
Ashley & Jason’s wedding was quite the rowdy dance party. I think Allison & Dennis want to see if they can top it at their wedding at the Syria Mosque in November. Thanks to both of you for a fun evening!

You always do such great work with that off-camera lighting. I’m so impressed…..also impressed with your creative posing.
