This past Saturday brought a beautiful sunny and clear day for Jessica and Jason’s wedding at Armstrong Farms. What a perfect place for a wedding on a July day like this! Jessica and Jason’s wedding was held at the Fieldstone barn, which has this vibrant red roof. The ceremony was held just outside the barn, overlooking the hillside.
Best groom reaction ever! Jason’s jaw dropped like a ton of bricks when he spotted Jessica. There was an audible gasp, too.
Of course this is why… here comes his bride. It was so sweet how tightly they held on to each other during the ceremony.
We spent a little time immediately after the ceremony capturing some portraits of the newlyweds. I love when the flow of the day allows us to do this, as the bride and groom are so elated in these first few post-ceremony moments. (My favorite pictures from my own wedding were taken at this point, right after my husband and I had exited the ceremony and had a quick moment to ourselves.) It’s so wonderful to be able to capture that joy before devoting time to the more traditional family photos, which of course we always devote time to as well.
What a great idea to have this extremely refreshing signature drink! (I mean, it looked and sounded refreshing. Just water for me, of course.)A toast by Jason’s brother, Michael, the Best Man. (And he really was quite the Best Man – you don’t often see the Best Man helping to wrangle family members for group photos, but he did it with a smile.)Three first dance photos, the first by my assistant, Alisa Innocenti, who created beautiful photos all day long.I get the sense that Jessica and Jason completely forgot that anyone else was there.Jessica and Jason, congratulations! I hope you have a fabulous honeymoon.

Per usual you nailed capturing their reactions and emotion. I love the shots of them seeing each other for the first time and really like the last two at sunset. Armstrong Farms looks like an awesome venue too. Great job!
My two favorite photos: Hand holding during the ceremony and the toast given by the best man–a true best man.
These pictures are gorgeous & I can’t wait to see more! That day was beautiful and I am so happy to call Jason my cousin!!
Christina these are beautiful…love the image of the ceremony with the gorgeous blue skies!
