When I first met Nikki and Josh, Nikki told me how clearly she remembered the day that they got engaged. She said she just couldn’t stop smiling! And she was sure that on her wedding day, she would have that same permagrin. She was right! Even though I think the rain only stopped for about five minutes the whole day, Nikki was in high spirits and full of endless smiles.
I began the day with Nikki, her mom and bridesmaids at the hotel where Ashley of Synergy Salon and Julie from Pittsburgh Makeup were taking care of hair and makeup. My second shooter for this beautiful wedding was Pamela Marie. Many thanks to Pamela for her great eye and positive attitude.
This is Nikki’s DRESS. So magnificent, it requires all caps.
I commend Nikki and her bridesmaids on some very good forward thinking. Knowing that lacing up the dress was a complex process, they shot video at the dress shop so they’d have something to refer to. It was a three-woman job!
After the ceremony, we made our way over to Westmoreland Country Club, where we made use of their indoor space and covered areas. And Nikki and Josh had a special visitor – their cheerful, well-dressed Golden Retriver, Dirt. 
The banquet room at Westmoreland Country Club is spacious, with lots of windows, elegant chandeliers and a unique wood vaulted ceiling. 
Betsy, Nikki’s Maid of Honor, had some supporting visual aids for her speech. 
I just love seeing brides and grooms together on the dance floor! And I can’t remember a bride and groom who spent more time together at their reception. These two clearly wanted to have a fun, memorable night, and they surely did. As always, DJ Jeremy Ganss kept the party going and going and going. 
Congratulations, Nikki and Josh! What a pleasure it was to spend your wedding day with you.
