Erin & Mike, both native Pittsburghers, knew what mattered most to them on their wedding day: spending time having fun with friends and family. Having been officially married two days earlier, their wedding reception at Heinz Field was all about having a good time. Guests were first treated to behind-the-scenes tours of Heinz Field, and then a fun party in the West Club Lounge, complete with music by Matt of DJD PGH, Monte Carlo games and photo booth by DGM Photography. Here are a few of my favorite photos from this fabulous party!
I have to say, I laughed when I spotted this name among all the other escort cards. But then I encountered an odd coincidence. A few days later, I was at my 9-year-old son’s baseball game. While looking at the names on the backs of the opposing team’s shirts, among the regular surnames like “Smith” and “Jones,” there was one that read “Meatball.” What are the odds?!
Erin and Mike began the day with a tour that included the locker room, field, and a luxury suite.
Regrettably it started raining at this point. Boo, Pittsburgh weather. 
Bride +groom + 17 family members + security guard + tour guide + photographer and light stand all in one elevator. Check! Also, a big thank you to the Heinz Field staff. They were efficient, courteous, knowledgeable and gracious throughout the entire event. 
After dinner there was a short break in the rain, which gave us an opportunity for a few more photos. 
This top hat has been in Mike’s family for generations.
