I approach every wedding with the expectation that the people in front of my camera are not professional actors or models, and are likely to need some guidance to look their best. It’s overwhelming knowing you’re being photographed, and can be a challenge to try to look “natural.” But then, once in a while, there’s a couple like Beth and Ben. With this couple, I honestly felt that they were hardly even aware that I was there – or even that their guests and family were there! I can’t recall any couple gazing lovingly into each others eyes as much as these two did. Even the minister who married them commented, “it’s almost sickening, isn’t it?”
How wonderful to be able to document this happiest of happy couple’s wedding day! The wedding ceremony took place at Coraopolis United Methodist Church, with reception following at Blueberry Hill Park in Wexford. Thanks very much to Pamela Marie for assisting me; some of the images below are hers.
Congratulations, Beth and Ben!
