Spring 2015 has not been kind to brides and grooms hoping for outdoor weddings. While the rain has been great for plants (I’ve never had so much mint grow for my iced tea!) it’s quite distressing when you’re peering out the window and trying to decide whether your wedding ceremony will be inside or outside.
Sometimes it’s just a matter of luck and timing! Kylie and Andrew lucked out that rain held off of their wedding day long enough for the outdoor wedding ceremony at the B&O Station in Youngstown they’d planned – as well as their pre-ceremony photos at the nearby Fellows Riverside Gardens. Their very personal, meaningful ceremony was performed by Kylie’s brother-in-law Henrique, and featured one of the most unique symbolic gestures I’ve ever seen, which will be featured in a later blog post!
A big thanks to Jodi Walsh for shooting with me.
Enjoy some of my favorite photos of this wonderful couple’s wedding day.
Congratulations, Kylie and Andrew!
