Who would have guessed that a chance meeting at Monte Cello’s would lead to Nikki and Bryan getting married exactly eight years and one day later? And what a wedding it was! Nikki and her mom, Cindy, worked tirelessly to put together an incredible celebration involving an impressive list of Pittsburgh’s best wedding vendors.
Joining me to photograph this exquisite wedding was Pamela Marie. I was also delighted to have my teammates at Syncopated Pictures, Randi Voss and Nicki Dembski there to shoot video – keep an eye out on the Syncopated website for Nikki and Bryan’s wedding movie.
Nikki and Bryan began the day at the Westin Convention Center Hotel downtown, where they got all dressed and ready before heading to their ceremony at beautiful St. Paul’s Cathedral in Oakland. After a stop at Mellon Park in Shadyside for photos, Nikki and Bryan celebrated with their family and friends at The Pennsylvanian, with superb musical entertainment by Jason Kendall Productions, and a delicious meal prepared by Rania’s Catering.
Here are some of my favorite photos of this memorable day.
Nikki’s dad, Mike, positively beamed at his daughter all day long. What a proud father!
The Pennsylvanian is surely one of Pittsburgh’s most majestic venues, and it looked amazing. I’ll share more details in a future post.
Bryan’s twin brother, Eric, cracked everyone up with his speech. “Bryan – if you ever need anything, anything at all… ask Mom and Dad.”
Congratulations and best wishes, Nikki and Bryan!
