I’m delighted to share some of my favorite photos of Alicia and Riccardy’s wedding that I assisted my good from Alisa of Weddings by Alisa with last October. (Does it seem like it would be confusing to have a bride Alicia and a photographer Alisa? Well, that’s nothing compared to the time my Syncopated Pictures teammate Nicki and I shot video of Nikki and Rob’s wedding alongside photographer Nicki. Three Nickis!)
I began the day with handsome Riccardy and his groomsmen at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. While we walked around the North Shore for some portraits, Riccardy mentioned to me that he and Alicia had made all of their centerpieces out of paper. I smiled and nodded, thinking, aw, that’s nice. I later saw for myself that they had converted The Edgewood Club into a room full of architectural masterpieces. They were absolutely stunning, and very impressive. This was such a fun wedding day from start to finish, and even though it was quite cold, the outdoor ceremony in the walled garden at Mellon Park was beautiful. Riccardy looked so serenely overjoyed when he saw his bride walk down the aisle. I loved the black belt on her dress, and how well the black and white bridesmaids dresses complemented her. All that plus happy people and the way that all of the decor and details came together at The Edgewood Club and it was one spectacular wedding day.
