Thanksgiving weekend was a busy one for me! We entertained 15 people for Thanksgiving at my house, and also had family visiting for the weekend, giving us a full house of 12 people. That Saturday, I photographed Lindsay & Bill’s wedding at the Rivers Casino for my sister company, Syncopated Pictures.
Meanwhile, Pamela had the pleasure of photographing Jenn & Paul’s intimate wedding at one of my favorite restaurants, Piccolo Forno. (If you’re new here and wondering who Pamela is, read this.)
Prior to the informal, intimate wedding in Piccolo Forno’s new second floor event space, Jenn and Paul and some of their family members stopped at Allegheny Cemetery for some photos. A cemetery may seem an unsuitable location for wedding photos at first, but after you see what Pamela did with this location, I think all doubt will be erased. It’s beautiful here! And, considering it was almost the end of November, it’s pretty remarkable that there were so many trees still with leaves. That beautiful Japanese maple with the red leaves… the tree lined street… the classic architecture… Pamela did a fantastic job capturing beautiful portraits of this happy couple. Here are a few favorites. Enjoy… and don’t miss the very cool double exposure at the end!
