Alaena told her florist she wanted a “winter rustic” wedding. Of course, the first thing that needs to be discussed when you’re planning a “winter rustic” theme… what is winter rustic???
Well, now we know. The team at Hepatica took those words and designed bouquets, centerpieces and transformed the fifth floor Mueller Center at the Heinz History Center into a winter rustic wonderland. Have a look at these stunning creations and you’ll be oohing and aahing too.
How about those soft, cool color combination of Alaena’s bouquet here? The little berries and the pine cones make this so unique, distinctive and awesome.
And look at the little berries in Matt’s boutonniere! I love this so much.
Alas, the flower girl resisted all pleas to wear this flower crown. It looks great on maid of honor Casey, though!
In addition to everything that Hepatica has going on, I love the lighting work here by E.F. Lighting. Subtle uplighting and bistro lights provide a perfect accent to the room.
My favorite part of the room: the head table, with a smattering of votives, bark-covered vases for the bouquets and mirrors. Photo overload!
A toast to the wonderful vendor team that created this stunning wedding reception!
