Amy and Juli live in New York, but decided to get married in a real city… Pittsburgh. Just kidding, guys! I love New York! My dad is from New York! Nevertheless, Amy is from Pittsburgh, and their mutual affection for this beautiful city brought them here for their wedding celebration. What a beautiful day it was for their ceremony & reception at my favorite venue, the Heinz History Center! Here are some of my favorites. Many thanks to Pamela for shooting with me; her photos are mixed in with mine below.
Amy & Juli had their first look in the Board room at the History Center.
We lucked out with the weather! This is the 5th floor balcony at the History Center.
We took advantage of the indoor space, too.
Before the ceremony, Amy waited in the trolley.
The History Center events staff is amazing. After the ceremony, guests went upstairs for cocktail hour and they flipped the Great Hall from the ceremony setup to this pretty reception space.
And how about Common Plea Catering? Their food is delicious, yes, but their presentation is innovative and fun too.
The legendary Prantl’s Burnt Almond Torte.
Such a sweet and happy first dance! Music and DJ services provided by Steven Vance.
Amy & Juli’s guests were ready to dance!
Congratulations, Amy & Juli!
