Rebekah and Matt are married! And they have Rebekah’s best friend and matron of honor, Michelle, to thank. In her speech at the reception, Michelle explained that she and her husband had tickets to see Dave Matthews Band and wanted to find a suitable date for Rebekah. While washing her hair, Michelle had a wave of inspiration – “Matt Tolino!” Rebekah and Matt hit it off at that concert and have been together ever since.
Rebekah and Matt’s wedding ceremony took place at the Edgewood Country Club in Churchill. Thanks to my friend Pamela for shooting this fabulous wedding with me!
Prior to the ceremony, we had time for some bridal party photos. And moms. Because moms are the best.
Here’s Matt with this gorgeous group of groomsmen. Ok, I’m not fooling anyone, they’re the ring bearers. How cute are their outfits?!
The actual groomsmen…
A few minutes before the ceremony began, I was staking out my spot for when Rebekah would walk down the aisle. Then I thought to myself, “the card!” Matt had given Rebekah a card labeled “open just before the ceremony.” I rushed back to the room where Rebekah was waiting just in time for her to open it. I call that Photographer Sixth Sense. Sometimes I just get a tingle that tells me something is about to happen.
Kids can be a wild card during a wedding ceremony.
Rebekah and Matt had just the right attitude about this unexpected place to flop.
Love flower girl Maggie’s reaction to the butterfly release!
Congratulations, Rebekah and Matt!
