Back in September, I had the pleasure of photographing Lauren and Levi’s engagement session in Schenley Park. It was a perfect evening, not too hot or cold, with great light the whole time. We first met for a drink at The Porch at Schenley, where I used all of my will power to not sneak peeks at the Pirates – Rockies game that was on TV right in front of me. Not easy! But I prevailed.
It’s November now, baseball season is over, and I’m happy to share a few of my favorite photos from Lauren and Levi’s session.
All photos were created with only natural light, except this last one. I wanted a photo of Lauren and Levi sitting, and these steps were ideal. Except that there was no sun anymore, and the light down here in the woods was very flat. So, I triggered a flash hidden in the shrubbery to camera right for this one.
