I’m going to step back in time… back two seasons to springtime. Back in May, I had the pleasure of assisting my friend Alisa for Courtney and Zach’s wedding at the Fieldstone Barn at Armstrong Farms in Saxonburg. (You don’t want to miss Alisa’s photos!) Fieldstone has a special place in my heart, because I photographed the very first wedding that was held there after its grand remodeling in 2009. It was also my first wedding as lead photographer! It was a pleasure to be back again.
I was also delighted that I arrived a little bit early, giving me plenty of time to photograph the fabulous details Courtney and Zach had prepared for their guests. I spent a little bit of time with Zach and his groomsmen before their beautiful outdoor ceremony in the spring sunshine.
There are lots of lights strung around inside the barn. Can you tell that I love using them in the background?
I love this cake. Yes, it’s a cake… but it’s like a cascading waterfall of flowers are happening on the cake. So creative, and pretty.
Look at these incredible spring blooms!
Courtney and Zach thought of everything… they even had wood-fired pizzas as a late night snack. Delicious!
Congratulations Courtney and Zach! And thank you, Alisa, for having me along.
