Congratulations to Rachael and Marcell, who celebrated a magnificent wedding day last weekend. From start to finish, there were so many smiles and laughs…. not to mention some fantastic details. Check out the crazy awesome ivory and blue paper flower backdrop that Rachael actually made all by herself. Look closely and you’ll see that all the flowers are unique.
Rachael & Marcell were married by her father at St. Paul Baptist Church. We stopped briefly at Mellon Park for a few photos before rain chased us away, and then had a fabulous celebration at The Edgewood Club. Thankfully, the rain tapered off so we were able to duck out during dinner for a few more photos.
Thanks to Pamela for photographing this happy wedding day with me.
Once Rachael had her dress on, she said, “what time is it? I’m ready to walk down that aisle NOW!”
Best man Rondell sang beautifully.
What’s about to happen here was described in the program as “Life-Changing Kiss.”
Rachael’s friend’s daughters treated guests to a dance performance. They were fantastic.
And a serenade by Rachael’s sorority sisters.
Congratulations to Rachael & Marcell, aka #thenewwileysontheblock!
