I don’t do a lot of family photos. But there’s no greater pleasure than the privilege of shooting family photos for a past wedding couple! I became fond of Laura and Matt way back when we first met and I photographed their engagement session in 2010. And then their wedding in 2011. Baby Oskar arrived in 2014, and I photographed the whole family again in 2016. And now, little brother August has arrived! Laura told me that the boys’ preschool had requested a family photo, and she realized she had nothing to give them that wouldn’t involve cutting up other photos and taping them together. That wouldn’t do! I was happy to visit their home and create these images for them.
Gotta give a shout out to the boy on the bottom of the pile here. That’s my Junior Assistant, my son Jonas, who came to help hold a light and incite some smiles. And to be tackled. Thanks, Jonas!
