So, earlier today I shared that it’s my anniversary. When Leo got home from school, he transformed into super helper boy and helped clean the house before Matt came home from work. He even helped vacuum!
Matt was surprised to see how clean the house was. And I was surprised when Matt came home bearing sushi and flowers. And then I was dumbfounded by the other item in his hand – a bundle of little tiny pumpkin trees. Yes – pumpkin trees! This was a perfect opportunity to use my brand new macro lens. Which of course my husband, who knows me so well, knew I would want to do.
According to the label, they’re handcrafted in California. But they’re alive! Really and truly growing on these branches. I don’t get it. I wouldn’t believe it if I hadn’t seen them with my own eyes. Which I have. But I am still having a hard time believing it. They’re too weird!
Of course the boys wanted to squeeze and pinch them. I did, too.
Thank you my dear husband.
they look like a cross between a pumpkin and a cherry tomato! Very interesting!
I LOVE the last photo of you with Jonas and Leo. So much love for you and Jonas. And Leo too–just not always wearing it on his face.
