I am quite sure that no one could enjoy watching this movie as much as I enjoyed editing it, or shooting it for that matter. Definitely a case of better late than never!
October is unquestionably my favorite month, and I think it’s safe to say that the rest of my family feels the same way. In October, we turn into pumpkin patch junkies, each weekend trekking to Soergel’s Orchards or Schramm’s Farm. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to, I’d probably go with Simmons Farm. So when we made our trip out to Simmons one beautiful October Sunday, I decided that’s where I’d shoot some video.
That video collected dust for six weeks while I focused on editing fall weddings. But Thanksgiving weekend found me caught up and ready to look at pumpkins again. I’m so glad I did. I think Jonas has watched this about 20 times in the past three days.
I love the scary music. What was being hurled in the last moments of the video?
I’m thrilled that you took time to edit this video, and even more excited that you have shared it here on your blog. In photography or cinematography, it is such a “joy” to shoot what you love. Your love for your family is so obvious, and they are so lucky to have such an amazing storyteller for a mom.
Oh and LOOK OUT of that monster in the corn maze.
