Lindsey and Dan met when they were students at John Carroll University in Ohio. Lindsey caught Dan’s eye right away, and he embarrassed her by asking her friend, “who’s your cute partner?” He quickly won her over and they’ve been together since!
After doing their fair share of moving, Lindsey and Dan have settled in Chicago, but chose to have their wedding in Pittsburgh, Lindsey’s hometown. And what a wedding it was! I began the day at Lindsey’s parents’ house as her bridesmaids helped her into her stunning gown. I’m glad that my job is photography so you can just look at these photos to see how gorgeous Lindsey was, because I don’t think there are words!
Many thanks to Katia Forero for assisting me throughout this wedding. Several of the images below are hers.
Here’s the first reaction to seeing beautiful bride Lindsey… her dad, Rick. Lindsey’s bridesmaids’ reaction as she came downstairs…Meanwhile, at the church, despite being pretty nervous, Dan was all smiles. Love this! Dan’s father beamed as his youngest daughter, junior bridesmaid Rebecca, was the first one down the aisle. Okay, here goes way more ceremony procession images than I usually post on my blog, but I can’t help it. Dan was clearly overjoyed to see Lindsey come down the aisle. I’ve never seen such an expressive groom, especially the last of this series as Lindsey and Dan head off to the front of the aisle together. Beautiful bouquets by McCandless Floral. Lindsey and Dan’s reception was held at Twelve Oaks Mansion in Mars. And what a party it was! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a dance floor so packed! There was barely an empty inch the whole evening as DJ Scott Miser kept the music coming. I learned that John Carroll graduates some really fun people! After speeches by the Best Man, Maid of Honor and Lindsey’s dad, Dan took a turn with the microphone for two heartfelt toasts – one to his beautiful wife, and then one thanking their mothers for all their love and support over the years. Nicely done, Dan. Congratulations Lindsey and Dan! I so very, very much enjoyed spending your wedding day with you and wish you a fantastic honeymoon!
