BreAnn and Brian met when they were students at Duquesne University. Both had been active in their high school marching bands, and pursued joining the band at Duquesne. And then, both were dismayed to find that their high school bands had been significantly more competitive! They dropped out of the band, but giving it a shot proved worth it, as they’ve been together ever since.

After some detours to Minnesota and Seattle, they’ve now settled in Boston. (Well, not RIGHT now. I think right this very minute, they are on a sunny beach in Hawaii!)

Thanks to Nicki Dembski for shooting this wedding with me! I began the day with BreAnn as she got ready at The Priory Hotel. Nicki met Brian at Duquesne’s campus. I don’t think anyone keeps stats on weddings. But if they did, I’m sure BreAnn would be at the very top of the Most Smiley rankings.

We had some time for portraits on Duquesne’s campus, before heading back over to the Priory for a few more. What a treat that Duquesne’s band was nearby practicing on the football field!
