A couple months ago I had the pleasure of shooting a bat mitzvah party at Wildwood Golf Club in Allison Park, just a short drive from downtown Pittsburgh. It was my first time there, and I was impressed at what they have to offer! This is a fantastic space to hold a bat mitzvah, bar mitzvah, wedding or any party. The banquet hall has high, vaulted ceilings, creating a big, open feel. Best of all, there’s not just one fireplace… but two fireplaces! And right outside the ballroom is a covered patio, so whether rain or shine, guests can go outside. (And in the case of the bat mitzvah, the adults have a place separate from the kids. This can be key to sanity for all.)
The back of the stone building faces the golf course, and would be a great location for wedding photos. Even better – there is a great view of the sky to the west – perfect for photos at sunset!
