What’s to love about St. George Cathedral weddings?
Well for starters, St. George’s Cathedral’s ceiling is blue! How cool is that?! And not just a little bit of blue – the whole thing is blue, with some beautiful paintings, too. It also has a giant chandelier, and balconies in both front and back. But, ummm, photographers… be careful. Every time I drive past this church, I think “there’s that church where I fell down the stairs.” To get to the balcony in the front of the church, you have to climb a narrow spiral staircase. When I did this, I slipped and then slid down 7 or 8 stairs. Luckily my only injuries were a broken nail and a bruised leg, and I went right on shooting without missing a beat.
St. George is right off the Boulevard of the Allies, so it’s easy to get to Downtown and the North Shore from here, and it’s also very convenient to Schenley Park.
