Yes, it’s cold out there. Really cold. It’s great weather to sit in front of a fire with a cup of hot coffee (or my favorite, a chai tea latte with a shot of espresso).
Or, maybe, just maybe, if you’re a lover of cold weather, it’s also great weather to bundle up and go photograph ice on Pittsburgh’s Allegheny River. Yes, it was very cold yesterday, but I couldn’t get enough of these icy shapes.
I don’t know if I’ve ever seen the North Shore so empty! (Except maybe during last year’s polar vortex.)
