What’s to Love about

When it opened in early 2015, Hotel Monaco brought to Pittsburgh its quirky, elegant decor. It’s difficult to describe a place that can somehow pull together bird cages, dog lamps, vibrant green accents, and floral wallpaper. From the stunning hanging garden in the lobby, to the warm fireplace and portraits half covered in paint in the Living Room, the Hotel is a feast for the eyes and gives you plenty to talk about. The location is great too; the Steel Plaza T station is across the street, and Mellon Square Plaza and Mellon Green are right across the street too.

The staff here is attentive, responsive and helpful. And their banquet space is fantastic. You can’t beat having your ceremony in the light-filled Sofia Ballroom, then cocktail hour on the rooftop patio, and reception in the stunning Sheffield Ballroom.
